Project status view

In Timeneye, you can monitor the progress and profitability of your projects in real-time. Here is how.

Timeneye helps admins and project managers get a clear project overview as it progresses. All the relevant data of a project is gathered in a clear, complete view featuring an all-time Effort graph, the Total and Billable time entered for the project. The top boxes can also show the total of internal costs (if you use them) and the billed VS unbilled money.

Below, pie charts will show the distribution of your time and a breakdown of phases and users.

Simply click on a Project from inside the Projects section. You will see all the details in one view, like this:

The totals shown in the top boxes are calculated according to the billable type of the project if you have a set budget (time budget or monetary budget), the hourly rates, and if you're tracking costs for that particular budget.

Some data may or may not appear depending on the user's permission level:

  • Every member of the project can see the percentage of project completion;

  • For non-billable projects, only owners can see the project amount;

  • For Fixed-fee and Time&Material projects, ownersadmins and PMs can see the project amount.

By clicking on the Total Time, or any of the totals boxes in the top part, a complete list of the Time entries will appear, and you can also filter them by team members, timeframe, phases, and so on. No more going back and forth with your team members to know who tracks time and when.

As you scroll down, you'll see a series of widgets featuring pie charts that provide an insightful overview of how time has been allocated across different phases, team members, and tags. You can customize the metrics used for the overviews by selecting from options such as Time, Cost, or Revenue.
