Working Hours and Time tracking Reminders

Learn how to set up your team's working hours, both in a global and individual setting, plus how to set time tracking reminders

To ensure all of your team members align with their agreed working hours and to help them effectively use their time, Owners of the workspace can set up the daily working hours in the workspace and user settings. After the working hours are set, users will be able to see their daily working hours on their dashboard and compare them with the hours they tracked for the day.

How to set up the Working hours for the whole company

  1. Owners can go to Settings>General settings;
  2. From there, look for the Working hours setting;

  3. Select the default working days, and then proceed to set the default working hours on each day;
  4. To make sure users can see their default working days on their dashboard, switch on the related option;

This option sets up the default working hours for the whole team. If you need to have different hours for different users, see the paragraph below.

How to set up Working hours for Each user

If you have team members with different working hour agreements, Owners can customize their individual settings accordingly, from the Team section of the workspace:

  1. Go to the Team section;
  2. Click on the individual user's name;
  3. Find the Working hours in the user's details dialog and set them for each day:

Please note: the working hours set for individual users will take precedence over any general settings you may have previously established.

Should you need to reset the individual's working hours and revert back to the default company setting, just click the option on the bottom right.

How to set up daily Time tracking Reminders

🌟 Time tracking reminders are included in the PREMIUM Plan 

When work gets hectic, tracking time can become the last chore at the bottom of the to-do list. We understand that it can happen to forget to track time, and to help with that, we have added the option to end time tracking reminders to users:

1. In Workspace setting>General> Working hours, check the Reminders option and additional settings. You can choose the specific timing for sending automatic reminders when a user has not tracked a certain percentage of their daily, weekly, or monthly capacity.

2. Similarly, if you have set up personalized working hours for each user, you access the Team section and in the user's profile, you can customize the reminder and additional settings for those individual users as well:
